About the Chef
As a child, Camerin took his mud pie making to the next level. He would use pears from the family fruit tree to turn his pretend confections into “fruit tarts” (foreshadowing).
Camerin was a VERY early viewer of the Food Network and spent his Saturdays studying the recipes of Emeril Lagasse, Julia Child, Tyler Florence, Bobby Flay, and the Two Fat Ladies.
Camerin graduated from The Culinary Institute of Platt College in 2005 with honors after his intensive 3-month internship with Pastry Chef/Instructor Kim Lynch. He has freelanced as a cake decorator, caterer, “church chicken fryer”, and Pastry artist.
Camerin closely follows the work of his favorite chefs including Giada De Laurentiis, Ina “Barefoot Contessa” Garten, Ann Burrell, and the Queen, Martha Stewart
